It's been kind of quiet here this week because I have been in deadline hell. In addition a day job, I also moonlight as a freelance beauty and travel writer and every. single. story was due this week. Obviously I procrastinated this past weekend so instead of working, I went outfit shooting instead. But it was a good thing I did because the weather was warm and beautiful – nothing like grey clouds (and deadlines) that loomed over me all week.
But now that I've turned in my last story (yay!) I can get back to talking about outfits. I am quite the fan of lace but am particularly in love with this Lover top. I love the Australian brand because their clothes strike the perfect balance between romantic and modern. I chose to pair it with pretty, muted colors for a more delicate feel but it would also be a great piece to contrast against sharper silhouettes and tougher textures. Anyway, that's pretty much the only commentary I can provide at the moment because I don't think my brain and put forth any more cohesive thoughts or words without a couple of cocktails.
